Well Made
Well Made is for all the gamers who knit, crochet, cosplay, quilt, mend, braid, dye, stitch, felt, patch, hem, or occasionally staple, glue, and tape. It’s most particularly for anyone who dreams of spinning moonbeams, imagines knitting unicorn fur, or longs for a shirt of interstellar silk.
In Well Made, you have the grasp to match your imagination’s reach. You can fasten wave-froth to a hat, or upcycle discarded moss pillows. You can bargain for lava silk or get a good comet-dust dye on lunar cotton. In this short game, we pay tribute to the dreams, acknowledge the frustrations, and face the challenges that come to every fiber artist.
This is a solo-friendly, fibercraft-themed journaling game. You play a character who is asked to create a well-made work of fiber art. Your creation can be anything you can imagine, from a cloak woven of starbeams to a swooshy cosplay tail for a shy friend. If you’ve ever made something of thread, yarn, fabric, leather, felt, or foam, you’ll find an echo of your journey in Well Made.
Well Made is set in the modern day with tips for adjusting to any setting you desire. Love the element of chance in games? We’ve included options for dice rolls at key points. Play as a solo game, or gather some friends and play as a group. Well Made takes 1-2 hours to play solo (longer in groups) and can be re-played as many times as you can imagine crafting a well-made work of fiber art.
As with all our products, the digital version of Well Made has been tested for screen-reader compatibility. All images are alt-texted, and the book is set in user-controlled layers. Don’t like the background? Turn it off. Images distracting? Hide them. If you have suggestions for ways we can improve the accessibility of our games, please let us know. We are currently working on creating digital braille versions of our games.
