Seasonal Campaigns
Join us on an exciting new adventure! Each season, we host three-month RPG campaigns in collaboration with local professional GMs (game masters). For folks who've been wanting to try roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons or seasoned players just searching for a new group, our campaigns are reliable, meet consistently, and don't require you to own any books or accessories to get started.
Registration Process
- Join the Opal Grove Discord server.
- Submit a registration form.
- Get matched into a campaign!
Prior to the start of the season, prospective players can read through descriptions of the upcoming campaigns (linked below) to get a sense of what play will be like. The player registration form tells OGG staff and the GMs when everyone is able to meet regularly, what experience they have with RPGs, and what players are hoping to gain or learn.
OGG will take all of this information, as well as the GMs' goals and preferences, into account and match up all of the groups. At that point, players who've been matched into a group will receive an invoice. Paying that invoice secures a player's spot in a campaign.
Pricing
Each session is $35 and there are 12 sessions in a campaign. You can pay up front and get two free sessions ($350) or you can pay monthly (3 payments of $140). Either way, the majority of this fee goes toward paying the GM.
In addition to a rich and engaging roleplaying experience, you'll get:
- matched with a group to play with consistently for 12 weeks
- use of our private gaming area
- access to your game's core book for reference
- all necessary printed materials and supplies, including character sheets
- accessories (dice, cards, towers, etc.) available to borrow in-store
- in-store storage between sessions
- a snack each session

We're gearing up for our next season, beginning in July!
Inheritance of Rot
GM: Lando (they/any)
System: Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition
You try to sit up—but you’re not in your bed. You’re not even in your room. You're lying in a long, dim corridor, the walls stretched with shadows that flicker without source.
A low creak echoes from the far corner—soft, but deliberate.
Your heart begins to race.
And then, from the darkness, a hoarse voice rasps out behind you:
"Welcome... home..."

The Fall of Plaguestone
GM: Sarah (she/her)
System: Pathfinder 2nd Edition
Summary: "A group of new adventurers traveling through the village of Etran's Folly—also known as Plaguestone—must come together to solve the murder of a friend. What starts as a simple investigation quickly turns sinister with the discovery of forbidden alchemy, mutant animals, and a nearby forest rotting away due to a mysterious blight. It becomes clear that if these heroes don't intervene to stop whatever evil is brewing, the fall of Plaguestone is all but certain!" - Paizo

A Scream From Underground
GM: Jeremy (he/him)
System: Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition
Summary: The Oracle spoke of things completely foreign to the people. Ideals of Equality, Freedom, Growth, and The Sky. Thoughts of hope sprung forth for the first time since before anyone alive in the Underground could remember. That’s when the soldiers came. They were sent to capture the Oracle, to make her face the King’s Judgment, to stamp out the noise the people were making.
But the Oracle gave the Underground a voice and now that voice was ready to scream.

System: Avatar Legends
Summary: Journey to the Science and Technology summit in the progressive and industrializing Fire Nation! An exciting prospect in itself, the possibility for adventures amplifies when a heist on the summit results in the theft of priceless Meteorite Metal from the Fire Nation. Now a mystery is afoot and it's up to the party to get to the bottom of it as tensions (and stakes) rise.
