A Scream From Underground
GM

Did you know it is a scientifically proven fact that you cannot have a meeting with Jeremy without an inquiry into your passions for TTRPGs. He would tell you that TTRPGs are the 6th level on the Hierarchy of Needs. As a player for 14 years and a GM for 13 TTRPGs, he is well versed in a variety of systems and would love to offer his experience to the Opal Grove community.
He has run both private and professional games, from home to conventions, with players ranging from 7 to 70. He is committed to ensuring every player has the best time at his table he can. Games will be balanced with players in mind after a session 0 discussion. Whether a combat heavy gauntlet, a cloud of mysteries, or impassioned roleplay, he is willing and ready to tailor the game to fit the kind of game you are interested in playing.

Summary
Your whole life, you were taught to keep your head down. Don’t stand out, never look up. You were born a member of the Underground, a place where those in power look upon you more as tools or animals than actual people. Your destiny was to work in the mines, create more workers, then die.
That all changed when she appeared. A woman, beautiful, radiant, and kind. She never introduced herself by name, so people began calling her the Oracle. The Oracle spoke of things completely foreign to the people. Ideals of Equality, Freedom, Growth, and The Sky. You saw opinions shift from derision to curiosity and eventual love and loyalty.
New ideas began to emerge and spread. Thoughts of hope sprung forth for the first time since before anyone alive in the Underground could remember. That’s when the soldiers came. They were sent to capture the Oracle, to make her face the King’s Judgment, to stamp out the noise the people were making.
But the Oracle gave the Underground a voice and now that voice was ready to scream.
Character Creation
The group will create characters as a table. For those who like to plan ahead, all Species in the PHB 2024 are allowed. Those from other books will require DM approval. Characters will start at level 4. Wizards, Bards, and Clerics wouldn't be found in the Underground. As such, players wishing to play as one of those classes will start at level 1.
Safety Tools
During session 0, your GM will introduce the concept of lines and veils and set aside time to establish those as a table. X cards will also be present for in-session boundary setting.
