Angels of Iron
GM

Anthony Paul is a storyteller, genre fiction writer, and a Game Master of six years. Through countless online and in-person games, he has striven to build communities through a commitment to imagination and teamwork.
Genre Fiction (Science Fiction/Fantasy) is a craft he believes is capable of allowing people to explore the real world through fantastical parallels and informed character decisions. Every player can bring their unique perspective of the world into the game, leading into incredible character decisions and new narrative possibilities.
Expect games with Anthony to include mixes of roleplay, combat, exploration, and intrigue; he is willing to bend the rules of a system if it means having impactful, interesting (and hilarious!) game moments.

Gameplay
Expect a mixture of heavy roleplay, collaborative worldbuilding, and awesome combat. We'll be starting at Level 1, with the goal that all character creation/domain cards will be copied and printed out.
Summary
They came as the scrolls foretold: in a rain of fire and ash, a chrysalis of twisted iron their cradle. The Angels always knew when we needed them most. Only by our hand may they cast their swords against evil. The price of our salvation is the truth; but will it be what destroys us in the end?
Angels of Iron is a twelve-session campaign taking place on a primitive world in the LANCER setting. Build the world and its history with your party and undergo a gauntlet of battles for the fate of those who dwell on it. Your pilots have the power to discover the origins of their ‘angels’, and decide the fate of their world and how they shall stand against the cosmos.
Expect a story-centered collaborative process dressed by nuanced tactical combat.
Character Creation
Session Zero will be a collaborative worldbuilding process in which we determine the setting of this primitive world, whether a quasi-21st century world versus a medieval pre-tech conclave. Set in the world of Lancer, little is needed to know about the universe at large--only where your characters begin as they start to learn of the bigger picture.
We can leave character creation as a diegetic tool as your pilots discover how to activate and utilize their 'Angels'.
Safety Tools
A virtual 'Lines and Veils' sheet will be made available for players to anonymously set expectations and boundaries.
