Gameplay

Generational Play: the first session as played as the ancestor of your character such as a parent, grandparent or great grandparent

Role Reversal: Players will roll to become the DM mechanically for a brief period of the session with some exceptions discussed in session zero

Summary

You wake with a jolt.

Sleep clings to your eyes like cobwebs cling to a seal sarcophagus, you see the edges of your peripheral shift. You're cold; like something dug the vigor from your bones while you slept.

Confusion grips you.

You try to sit up—but you’re not in your bed. You’re not even in your room. You're lying in a long, dim corridor, the walls stretched with shadows that flicker without source.

A low creak echoes from the far corner—soft, but deliberate.

Your heart begins to race.

And then, from the darkness, a hoarse voice rasps out behind you:

"Welcome... home..."

Character Creation

We will be building bloodlines/family lines to build a character and NOT other way around. Please come with family names, trait/quirks, family business/occupation ideas!

Safety Tools

During session 0, your GM will introduce the concept of lines and veils and set aside time to establish those as a table. X cards will also be present for in-session boundary setting.

Content Warnings

These topics/themes are at least somewhat likely to appear in this campaign. You'll have the opportunity to communicate lines and veils in your registration form. Please let us know if any of these won't work for you in a game!
